In Tanzania, as in many African countries, children with disabilities are considered cursed and are often hidden away for life to avoid family shame. Access to public education may be denied due to the existence of an abnormality, with or without disability.

- DaySpring Academy Primary school supports an inclusive education environment for children with and without disabilities. Classrooms are wheelchair accessible and tuition support is available.
- The Secondary school at DaySpring Academy opened in January of 2024. extending the local opportunity for inclusive education.
